While a qualification like this isn’t essential, it can be a great thing to have if you want to expand your career into internet marketing consulting.
Once you have the skills and qualifications, you don’t necessarily have to work for a consultancy. You can operate as a contractor and go in to clients as an individual. Of course, this means you have to find your own work, but by this point you will know exactly how best to do that using your internet marketing prowess!
