They want to know that they are not being lied to or being taken advantage of when buying a product. The key is to find people through social media outlets that you have things in common with. People who will like your product. Then, be their friend. Care about what they have to say and what is going on in their lives. They will check out your product and business. Then as your relationship grows and with it trust, they will be your friend and your customer.
